When I was younger, I absolutely loved summer days where I could sit outside all day long and get lost in a good book. Some days I wouldn’t even realize how long I was absorbed in my reading until the sun would start to set and I had to wander back inside. Those slow, simple summer days are such warm memories for me. I still absolutely LOVE to read and trust me, if I had the time to sit outside all day long and read I absolutely would! With the little kiddos it’s impossible to do that in this season of life, but I still make time to sneak away and sit on my porch swing and at least read a few pages in the warm summer sunshine.
This summer seems like it’s flying by, I can’t believe it’s almost halfway through July already! I know this post is a bit late, but I wanted to share what books I’m reading this summer. I always love to choose a variety of different books to read, and with so many great choices out there it’s hard to narrow it down! I also love to get recommendations of books I should add to my reading list, so if you have any books you’re enjoying this summer please let me know! 🙂
