Kid’s Mini Library: Fall Edition

Fall is here and our mini library is all ready to celebrate the autumn season!

Oh how I LOVE fall! The crisp chill to the air, gorgeous array of leaves, and abundance of fun fall activities like trips to the pumpkin patch that make this time of year so fun! My little wildflowers absolutely love to take nature walks during this time of year. We examine all of the neat fall leaves strewn along the ground, gather acorns they find along the trail, and listen to the howl of the wind rustling through the trees. We’ve updated our little “mini library” shelves in our kids’ room for autumn and set up all of our fall themed books that we love to read this time of year. A few of them my kids just love to read over and over, and it makes my heart so happy when a sweet little one runs up to me with a book and yells “Read it, Mama!” The love of reading is such a treasure, I am thrilled that I’ve been able to pass it down to my kids! 🙂 Here is our fall selection of books we have on our shelves and are enjoying on these brisk autumn afternoons:

No. 1 – In the Middle of Fall by Kevin Henkes

No. 2 – Apples and Pumpkins by Anne Rockwell

No. 3 – Tractor Mac Autumn is Here by Billy Steers

No. 4 – Mouse Loves Fall by Lauren Thompson

No. 5 – P is for Pumpkin: God’s Harvest Alphabet by Kathy-Jo Wargin

No. 6 – Biscuit and the Great Fall Day by Alyssa Satin Capucilli

No. 7 – Hello Autumn! by Shelley Rotner

No. 8 – Sweater Weather by Matt Phelan

No. 9 – Forest Club Fall: A Season of Activities, Crafts, and Exploring Nature by Kris Hirschmann
