The tree is up, the house is decorated, and I have been playing Christmas music as much as I can to try to get the family into the Christmas spirit! With so much hustle and bustle of fun that comes with the holidays, I really try to take some downtime each day to sit with my little ones and read together. Some days they’ll enjoy reading for almost an hour, some days it’s more like 5 minutes, but no matter! Having that quiet time with them on a regular basis really helps to calm them down when there is so much energy being exerted (emotionally and physically) during the fun of the holidays. Here are the books that we have been reading in our mini “library” that are putting us in the holiday mood 🙂

No. 1 – Madeline’s Christmas by Ludwig Bemelmans
No. 2 – Peppa Pig and the Lost Christmas List by Candlewick Press
No. 3 – A Charlie Brown Christmas by Charles M. Scultz
No. 4 – Bear Stays Up for Christmas by Karma Wilson
No. 5 – Corduroy’s Christmas Surprise by Don Freeman
No. 6 – Mater Saves Christmas by Alison Murray
No. 7 – Little Critter Merry Christmas Mom and Dad by Mercer Mayer
No. 8 – Olive, the Other Reindeer by J Otto Seibold
No. 9 – Mary Engelbreit’s A Merry Little Christmas: Celebrate From A to Z by Mary Engelbreit
No. 10 – Flora and the Penguin by Molly Idle

I hope you liked the peek into our mini library all decked out in Christmas cheer! What seasonal books are you and your loved ones enjoying this holiday season? Let me know in the comments below! 🙂
