*New* Fall 2022 Krispy Kreme Items

There are so many fall treats that I look forward to once summer comes to an end and that familiar chill creeps into the air. One of my favorite treats to indulge in is pumpkin doughnuts, but not just any doughnuts… Pumpkin Krispy Kreme doughnuts! And what’s better than pumpkin Krispy Kreme doughnuts?! Those melt-in-your-mouth pastries with some pumpkin spice coffee drinks! I headed to my local Krispy Kreme shop where the Warm Doughnut light was on and tried every new fall coffee drink and doughnut item they had to share my thoughts on these yummy fall treats! 🙂

What I’m Loving

It’s been a great week spending time with my family in California. I absolutely love watching my two little ones splashing around in the pool, digging sand castles at Laguna Beach, and cuddling up to their grandparents after a day of fun in the sun. It was a long road trip from Oklahoma, but when I see these moments, it makes the whole crazy drive worth it. And speaking of the roadtrip… The first thing that I’m loving right now was found along our drive across America:

What I’m Loving

Coffee. Coffee has been my life lately! My two little ones aren’t sleeping very well lately, and between being up all night, packing for our long road trip, and the daily life at home, I’ve been needing much more of my caffeine fix. And honestly, that’s just fine by me because I absolutely LOVE coffee! I usually use my drip coffee pot and my Nespresso, but I decided to dust off my Italian stovetop moka pot to have some extra fun with my coffee time. And speaking of my Italian espresso maker, that brings me to the first thing I’m loving this week:

What I’m Loving

Gorgeous morning at the creek!

Summer is in full swing and the heat wave is continuing on here in Oklahoma! We’ve been working on a lot of projects inside the house (out of the heat) and building lots of forts and obstacle courses for the little ones to burn some energy. We took another creek trip and a day trip to Bentonville, Arkansas (about an hour away) to go to the Scott Family Amazeum. The Amazeum is a huge interactive kid’s museum and the little ones can go wild and play with anything and everything (they absolutely love it there)! We are heading out on our road trip to California next week and continuing to get packed and ready, which brings me to what I’m loving this week. I found some adorable kid’s summer outfits which are perfect for our California trip I want to share with you, along with the other things I’m loving this week! 🙂

Summer Reading

When I was younger, I absolutely loved summer days where I could sit outside all day long and get lost in a good book. Some days I wouldn’t even realize how long I was absorbed in my reading until the sun would start to set and I had to wander back inside. Those slow, simple summer days are such warm memories for me. I still absolutely LOVE to read and trust me, if I had the time to sit outside all day long and read I absolutely would! With the little kiddos it’s impossible to do that in this season of life, but I still make time to sneak away and sit on my porch swing and at least read a few pages in the warm summer sunshine.
