Chia pudding has become a staple in our house. Packed with health benefits like omega-3’s, fiber, and protein. It’s the perfect breakfast or snack to keep you full, and even better it’s super simple to make! I love using this chia pudding recipe as a base and getting creative by adding different toppings, fruits, and quite honestly anything I’m actually craving at the moment (like chocolate, yum)!
To make the chia pudding, you truly only need two ingredients: chia seeds and your choice of milk. I generally use coconut milk or unsweetened almond milk, but generally any milk will work. Let’s make chia pudding! First, in a jar or container with a lid, mix together your chia seeds and milk. Let the seeds sit in the milk for 10 minutes and then give them another good stir, just to break up any lumps of seeds sticking together. Once mixed, put the lid on the container and pop your pudding in the refrigerator to chill. I like to chill mine overnight, but it can be “set” at minimum 2 hours if you’re short on time.

You can also add flavorings to your chia pudding, such as vanilla extract if you’d like. If I’m eating the chia pudding simply with some fruit I usually like to add vanilla for an extra flavor punch. Once your chia pudding is set, you can now create your own flavor masterpiece and enjoy your delicious (and healthy) breakfast/snack! I have been having so much fun coming up and trying different topping and flavor combinations with this quick and easy chia pudding recipe. I really like to layer my chia with slices of strawberries and bananas, then top the pudding with berries and toasted coconut for a yummy crunch. The fun is trying new toppings and really being creative with finding some chia pudding additions that you like. You can easily meal prep, make a few chia puddings at a time and store them in the fridge for whenever the craving or hunger strikes! These chia puddings will stay good refrigerated and sealed for up to 5 days. I hope you and your loved ones try this recipe and love it as much as we do!
